Wake time 5.5 month old

Hi all; my 5.5 month old is having frequent wake up at nights. He doesn’t want milk anymore just either to play/dummy insertions. He used to sleep 7-6am before regression
My question is about how much daytime napping he is doing and I’m wondering does that impact on night? I can’t get him to go more than 90 minutes wake time and he probably has 4.5 hours over the day split over 4 naps; sometimes even longer over 5. Even if he does a 2 hour lunchtime nap he still needs to sleep 90 minutes later. Should I be waking him up from naps? Or trying to cut down?

How long are naps usually? My DD kept awake times of 60-90 minutes right through until all naps were at least 1h30m. At that point awake time stretched to 2 hours (3 naps per day) and we kept the max 2h awake time until we dropped to 2-naod oer day at around 8/9 months.

My 5 month old has just started waking loads at night too is killing us. He's only slept through a couple of times but he's now waking 5-6 times.
I can't get him to nap much longer than 45 mins in a go on the odd occasion he'll go 60-70 mins. I'm in the same mind about napping especially the afternoon nap but I have hell with him if I was to try and keep him awake.
He goes 2 hours between naps consistently and his naps are restful but his nights are so disturbed.
I'm just hoping it's a phase as every night seems to be different and trying to ride it out. So although I can't offer advice I'm there with you!

Thanks for the reply. He tends to sleep about 3/4- hour twice a day and an hour and a half yhe other two naps. He just seems exhausted all the time and is in tears after practically an hour awake
