Hiya my LO is 9 months old and absaloutly hates being alone, sometimes he's okay with it but usually just screams, this is difficult when it's bedtime, any recommendations to help him understand I'll always come back!

I would stay with him until he falls asleep, as he won’t understand.

Another thing you can do in the daytime is play peekaboo, my 10 month old now gets very excited when I hide and reappear.

How for you get him to go to sleep?

Caseyr0se · 03/12/2017 09:48

I usually have dinner and a play then bathtime then another play then we dim the lights and turn of tv, and i feed him his bottle, he gets drowsy and sometimes falls asleep but as soon as i put him in his cot he wakes up again

What if you give him his bottle in the cot?

Could you not give him milk at bedtime?

Give him his milk half an hour or so before bedtime routine starts. Then help baby learn to go from fully awake to asleep whilst in the cot.
