Can anyone share how their baby slept during the above Wonder Weeks phase?

My little one is just at the start of this leap, but the timing of it covers the four month mark and the infamous four month sleep regression. My friend's normally sound sleeping baby is halfway through this leap and is currently being a bit of a nightmare in the night. Are you struggling?

I'm going to have the 4 week leap at the same time as hosting a household full of guests at Christmas Sad

Leap 4 is hard. Sleep goes a bit all over the place. We used cosleeping to help.

Badly. And he continues to sleep badly even though we’re a week out of it. At worst, it was hourly wake ups, feeding every time. Sometimes he wouldn’t settle with a feed and needed bouncing back to sleep.

We’ve had one decent night since it was over but that seems to have been a fluke.

@SaneAsABoxOfFrogs ah so you're at the start of it. Good to know we aren't alone. I think my son started the leap early or it was a horribly long 12 week growth spurt. He was very clingy and tearful for the first week and ever since his sleep has been awful. It's never been good, don't get me wrong, but he's doing the dreaded hourly wake ups and 3am babble party. He must be exhausted.

Definitely feel like I'm struggling. Being 24hourturnal is killer. I hope you don't struggle. 💕

@MrsGB2225 Oh no! Hopefully you will have some good support. Do you have other children?

I've got a very energetic 2yo. Hopefully I can rope in family to help!

Ceesadoo · 01/12/2017 10:42

I hope you'll be able to. 2 Under 2, one basically newborn & Christmas? My hat goes off to you. Hero. I couldn't do it.

A more postive outlook!

My son's sleep didn't really change that much: he had always been up at least once, sometimes twice for a feed, then straight back down. The only couple of bad nights we've had have been due to a cold.

We're two days from the end now and this week he has been sleeping from around 10pm - 7.30am. HALLELUJAH!

So for us, it hasn't been too bad

That is happy news!! Hoping the same for us.
