Morning all, I've a 21 month old who likes to start his days at 4am just now. He has been really choked up and unwell but i was just looking for some top tips on getting your little ones to sleep right through until a decent time?

What time do you get them to sleep in the evening?
Do they nap during the day? If so what time and for how long?

Thanks so much from one sleepy mumma!

Hi there

At 21 months I'd expect an afternoon nap of at least 2h30m and 11-12h over night sleep.

Early wake ups, assuming you've covered the basics of warmth, blackout blinds and white noise, are often due to over tiredness.

I would be aiming for a 12pm-3pm nap and an 8pm-7am night.
