Is he having 3 meals and 3 bottles per day, then 2 bottles at night - so 5 bottles over 24 hours? Or 3 meals and 3 bottles over 24h, 2 of which are at night?

What sort of percentile line is he on?

My 91st centile baby needed a little if calories. But I wasn't offering anything between 8pm-7am, all feeds in the daytime. Typically she would have 4 or 5 milk feeds plus 3 multi-course meals at this age.

By multi-course I mean, for example:

  • 1 spoon-fed jar of bought baby food that was savoury and meat based
  • followed by finger food selection of whatever the family meal was, as the rest of us were eating
  • followed by 1 pot of yoghurt, spoon-fed
  • followed by a selection if fruit as finger food
  • followed by a beaker of dilute squash or fruit juice.

This ^ is 1 meal. That quantity was repeated 3 meals per day. Plus bottles do that baby was eating about every 2h:

7am milk
8am breakfast
9am milk
Nap
11.30am lunch
12.30pm milk
Nap
3.30pm milk
5.30pm dinner
7.30pm milk
