Why won’t she nap??

[Peopleplease]

DD is almost 11 months and has started refusing to nap during the day!! Yesterday she slept for 20 mins in the morning - today she hasn’t slept yet!!

What the hell can I do?? Right now I’m walking around the house with her in her sling and she’s just screaming at me.

Is she walking yet? I remember an awful stage where DD couldn't tire herself out enough to be willing to nap, but was too tired to do anything except whinge. Since she learned to walk naps are way easier. When I was in your position I'd not bother trying to get her to nap in the morning, but rather get her doing some really physical play, then lunch at 11.30/12 then go for the nap. It took a few weeks to get the rhythm right. And a lot of days where I just walked her round in the buggy from 12 till 3.30!

john she’s just started taking a few steps! I think she’s moving to just one nap a day but isn’t thrilled about it!

She’s finally given in and is sleeping. Hopefully DD1 won’t wake her!
