Always been a rubbish sleeper, cant self settle & needs me by her cot to go to sleep, she wakes in the night (more like 11pm) & we have to get her in with us as she just won't settle in her cot, I've tried re settling her numerous times & as soon as I walk out she wakes within about 10 minutes as she realises I'm not there.

So how am i going solve getting her to stay in her own bed all night??

Is she in a bed or a cot?

In the very simplest terms, all it needs to get her to stay in bed all night is complete consistantancy. I realise that may seem easier said than done, but it is what it boils down to.

It means not bringing into your room if you want her sleeping in her own room. It means consistant and calm approach to bedtime, naptime and any wake ups.

She is in a cot at the moment, so I guess i just need to keep going in to her when she wakes etc & sitting with her until she falls back to sleep. This is definitely going to take months Sad
