2 year old dd appears to have dropped her nap. Is it normal this early?

DD3 has dropped her nap this week she 2yrs 2months.
DD1 (8yrs) dropped hers at the same age.
As for DD2 (7yrs) she still naps at the weekends sometimes.Smile

Watching with interest. My 2.2 year old still has 90 mins - 2 hours most days, but is occasionally dropping his so it won't be long I suspect....

Mine dropped hers at 21m 😬

Ok good to know so not too early. She just suddenly decided no more naps! It’s day three of no naps and I’m like oh god really?! I have the worst morning sickness ever and could have done with a few weeks longer! Haha

Mine were between 3y and 4.5y when dropping the nap. Preschool age.

I found that dropping the nap coincided with also no longer needing a comforter (dummy, special toy, blankie etc) for going to sleep.

Mine's dropping his at 24 months. Just before I gave birth again. He does nap sometimes but then he's awake very early in the morning. It's tricky because he does get tired.

It’s day three of no naps...

With my 4 children it was a much more gradual thing. More of a transition to no naps, rather than a switch. Some days toddler would nap, other days just rest on the sofa, other days nothing.

Oh that’s interesting, will be interesting to see if she naps a bit and then misses some days. She’s like a new much more intense her - I could tell today no way was a nap on the cards!

My 2.3 year old naps every day and my 3.10 year old still naps most days. Ds (the 3.10 year old)will nap 3 or 4 days (for around 2 hours)a week, rest on the sofa 1-2 days and not nap 1-2 days depending on what we're up to.

Dropped to 1 or 2 afternoon naps a week at 18 months and started sleeping through the night for 12-14 hours instead 😊

Ds is 2.3 and has dropped his nap very recently. Dd was exactly the same age to the month. Both good night sleepers so I regretfully take it on the chin!
