ok so were both full time working parents and its just getting silly now..hes waking up around 2am every night. I simply say its still night time darling and walk him back to his bedroom and he eventually falls asleep. sometimes it can take up to an hour. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now and I'm hoping we will be out of this phase very soon but I was thinking, shall I get him a night light? he doesn't tell me that he's scared or anything but its just a thought. can anyone recommend anything or any night lights ?

thanks in advance!

My children have all inexplicably and quite suddenly become scared of the dark around 3 years old. This after having black outs and a pitch black room from birth. So yes, i wouod certainly try a night light.

My now 7 year old used to have spells of similar behaviour. Usually it follows a time we've allowed him to sleep in our room (which happens only occasionally when ill) and it might take 2 or 3 weeks of every night returning him until he got the message. Consistency is key.
