6 week old... changing - help!

My LO was 5 weeks premature and since being born has went down between 8pm & 9pm.

For the past week she's been fighting it and wanting breastfed more. Currently sitting doing this now and have been on/off for over an hour.

Each time I think she's sleeping I put her down and she cries!

Any tips??

Cluster feeding through the evening is not unusual. I'd just go with it.

Also introduce a dummy if you have already. Gives your nipples a rest and helps baby get to sleep.

I thought I had it sussed as well because she just hadnt done it before, she also went down awake. Now it's held until sleeping etc, I do swaddle her and did use Ewan the sheep but think she hates him now!

I got a dummy (had to order a premature one) but she's not interested, will keep perceveiring.

Thanks

Totally normal! Keep feeding and look up cluster feeding on kellymom. Also download the wonderweeks app x

Any chance you could link to the wonderweeks app? Curious, and have an 11 week old that I'm trying to understand...

Hi @wildone81 - do you have an iPhone or an android phone? It should be in the 'app' store on either.
