Hi there, I really need some advice.

From being 3 weeks old my son has slept really well and has always had a bedtime. At 4 months, we decided to put him in his own room and he loved it. He's now 14 months and he's always had a bedtime of between 8 and 9. I've always put him down and give him his bottle to fall asleep with (he has never had a dummy) and he always goes to sleep before even finishing his bottle.

But for the last 10 days now he has screamed himself to sleep. I don't know what to do for the best. Me and my partner have lay on the floor next to his cot to try and sooth him. We have tried cradling and rocking him but he hates it, we have tried tiring him out before he goes to bed, we have tried lotions, you name it, we've tried it.

Any advice or suggestions would really help and an idea on why he's suddenly turned on his sleeping pattern would also really help.

Thank you for taking your time to read thisSmile

If it's come on so suddenly I'd suggest illness or pain. As an emergency measure when baby is poorly, I either let baby sleep in a travel cot next to my bed, or if it's really bad in bed with me.
