3 Month Sleep Regression?

Is there such a thing? My 13 week old for over a week now has gone from sleeping 4 hour stretches to waking at least every few hours. I know there is a big leap and growth spurt at 12 weeks but this is still going on. We're exhausted. She goes straight back off to sleep but wakes again in less than 2 hours. Sometimes for a feed, sometimes for a cuddle. She is EBF. Thanks for any advice!

Sleep does change quite significantly around the 3-4 month mark, so it's not unusual for sleep to get worse. But there are things you can do to encourage longer stretches of sleep.

Do you have an alternate settling method to get baby to sleep without feeding?

A dummy helps with in-cot settling, teamed with a sidecar cot (Once side removed off a normal cot) for in-cot cuddles is the easiest way I know to encourage in-cot settling without any crying.

She takes a dummy but struggles to go to sleep unless on me. This is so much worse than when she was a newborn. She's having a stretch of around 3 hours from 10-1 then it's awake at least every hour. Sometimes for s feed other times I'll just pick her up pop the dummy in and she cuddles in and goes off. I've tried just putting the dummy in whilst she's still lying in her cot with my hand on her chest but she just cries. What to i do to try to improve this? It's two weeks of it now and I'm utterly exhausted.

I've no advice to offer except to say I'm going through the same really. Wish I'd invested in a next to me co-sleeper crib... Feel like it's too late now!

It will get better Flowers I think people are always looking for ways to 'fix' these things when in reality if you ride it out, it usually sorts itself out within a week or so x

Sorry you're going through this too. It's not great! I've just read this article which says sleep regression can hit at three months.

Hoping it's just a phase and passes soon. We have a snuzpod but don't have it attached to our bed. Don't think it would make much difference. She doesn't want to be next to me, she wants to be on me Confused
