My child sleeps in a toddler bed next to me, but won't stay in it all night, she's up and down like a yo-yo until I eventually take her downstairs and fall asleep on the sofa with her. She needs to go in her own room but I'm scared to let her cry out? Anyone been in the same situations she's 20months and starting nursery one day a week.

She's in my bedroom at the moment. Next to my bed.

What about a single (or even double if you have room) mattress for her in her room? You could lie with her to go to sleep, at least initially.

Shes in a toddler bed next to us and she just hopes in, and won't stay in her own bed. She's up and down until I eventually give in and sleep next to her on the sofa down stairs I know she's only 20 months but must parents have cracked bedtime I feel like a terrible mum and wish I hadn't of co slept from 7weeks because now she's scared when I'm not hugging her every 3 seconds.
