Just wondering how people's little ones sleep.
My daughter sleeps at night from 6pm (this used to be later but went through some changes) and Wales between 5-6am, So this is good..
But her naps aren't like they were.
My day looks like this
5-6 wake up.
8am nap 1-1.5 hours
12.30 nap for an hour and a half, half the time we don't make it this long though.
From what I can gather this seems enough, but she struggles so much in between that I don't know. She rubs her eyes and is tired and cranky!
I've just taken her back up now cus she was so unhappy but I can see her on the monitor and she is just playing.
Any suggestions?

Mine is 19 months old now but at 11 months we stopped the morning nap as he would sleep late in the night. So he was sleeping c.10-11 hours at night and c. 2 hours during the day only. He seemed fine/ not tired. Are you waking her up at 1-1.5 hours in the morning nap or she is just waking up herself? Maybe if you are waking her up and she looks tired you try letting her sleep more in the morning nap?

I always let her wake up naturally, I had tried waking her before when the routine changed so that it didn't mess up later on, but it made no difference so I quickly stopped that and let her sleep as long as she needs x

At 11 months my routine was:

  • woken in the morning in the same 30m window every day
  • 2h-2h30m awake time until
  • Morning nap, naturally am least 90m, woken after 2h if still asleep
  • 2h-2h30m awake time until
  • Afternoon nap, always still asleep when woken after 2h
  • 3-4h awake time until bedtime

My overall day was shifted in relation to your timings, but that have me:
6.30-7am wake
9am nap
10.30-11am wake
1pm nap
3pm wake
7-8pm bed
