How do you keep baby safe in your bed once they are rolling, crawling etc?
Its going okay now - my 4 mo sleeps between me and the wall in a grobag, and I keep the duvet away from him. Its so lovely sleeping with him. But now he's started rolling - and what about when he starts to crawl? What are your experiences please?

yeah, it makes sense that you'd feel them when they move

Dd2 usually sleeps in between me and dp. Sometimes she sleeps next to me, in which case my arm is around her and she can't twitch without me waking up.

we co-sleep with dd 6 months and have found her sleeping on her front a few times. she seemed ok though and ive just turned her over. One thing i will say though - beware if either of you are sleepwalkers. Woke up a few days ago to find dh hovering over me picking up dd while asleep mumbling on about something. was quite funny but luckily im quite sensitive to dd and surroundings (built in motherly instincts i think) and i woke to intervene. We have a bedside cot which 'extends' our bed in some respect that helps with space. Also use gro-bag - duvet is kept well away from dd and i tend not to put her in the middle for that very reason

i took side off cot and tied it (cot) to bed at about 7m as we were getting rather kicked. worked fab and was soon able to put side back on = baby on own no prob.
