Daytime vs Nightime Sleep

My LO is almost 5 months & although a good sleeper at night her naps are hard work. She will easily sleep for 2+ hours on me once rocked to sleep, so I've just started to sleep train her (to an extent) for her naps in the daytime so that she can easily settle to sleep in her cot & self sooth. However I'm worried that by putting her in her cot for all naps this will confuse her when it comes to nightime sleep, will she know the different even though she's in the same room/environment etc??

You're over thinking it. Daytime naps in the cot are fine.

No, she won't be confused! Sleep is sleep, doesn't matter where it happens x
