In a bid to avoid the zombie look, brain fug and partner rage when your baby/child won't sleep, or doesn't for much more than an hour or two at a time:

  • the obvious: coffee, coffee and more coffee, and remember there is also caffeine in chocolate
  • try not to check the clock when you're up in the night. Obsessively counting hours of sleep managed doesn't make you feel any better in the morning
  • don't get into a fight with your other half about who's had more sleep. It never ends well. There is never a winner!

Any more tips chuck them on the pile.
