Opinions on the use of Sleepy Heads and the risk of SIDS?

We have a sleepyhead and we're never worried about risks as it's breathable material. It has been safety tested etc but you will always get some people who say they don't trust it, I for one felt more comfortable putting my tiny newborn on her back in the sleepyhead than in her little cot next to me as it kept her in one position - and so cosy x

They don't confirm to the SIDS recommendation of "firm, flat mattress" so tger e will be a risk involved. But there will always be a risk involved, your decisions as a parent I'd how to manage risk, not eliminate it completely.
