Do White noise sleep aids work?

Download a white noise app (free) on an old mobile then it will work anywhere. You don't need a SIM card, just connect to Wi-Fi to download the app then disconnect and you are good to go. Hairdryer on high volume worked for dd. It was like witchcraft. I could never have slept through that noise.

The app is also good as if you forget the toy you are stuffed. If you forget the mobile there is usually another phone / tablet around that you can download the app onto within minutes.
