I know I'm really lucky, but...

I posted a few weeks ago about my now 11 month old DD not going to sleep in her cot and trying gradual retreat, and us getting it wrong. We finally decided to try CC one night, and she was asleep in 5 mins. It was like magic - think she just wanted us to leave her alone to go to sleep! So I know we're really lucky... However, she always, without fail, wakes up crying. Morning and after naps. And from evening bed time will wake every 30-45 mins for the first 2/3 hours crying. If I just pop in and shush her for a couple of seconds she's straight back off again. After the 2/3 hours that's her for the night. Any ideas why she's doing this, and if it's something I can do anything about? I'm sorry that this seems so trivial now I've typed it out...

Does she have a comforter? Perhaps introduce one (wear it down your top for a while before you give it to her). Then she will learn to use that to comfort herself until she falls into a deep sleep.

Thanks - I've tried that, it just sits in the corner of her cot. I can't even guarantee she'll be anywhere near it as she's really active in her sleep, always moving from one end to the other!
