I have just put to bed when mine did this. I didn't wake them but changed nappy when I went to bed.
Mine have always stayed asleep and not got up early even going to bed this time but others might be different!

I would t wake up and do a bath, they might be up until about 10/11pm.

Thanks! Any other thoughts? I'm going to decide in next 15 mins...he seems pretty pooped!

He had an unusually busy day and then wanted milk when home & just nodded right off so maybe growth spurt needing more energy! Who knows? X

I'd put to bed and hope for the best!

I'd be very weary of naps at that sort of time at 18 months old.

If you have a child who doesn't sleep very well and may be chronically over tired and thoroughly exhausted, then child may take the opportunity for a really long nights sleep to catch up.

Similar if the child is poorly. Not unusual for the rare 15-16h nights sleep with a very poorly little one.

But if you have a good to average napper, if child has had their usual naps that day and isn't poorly - I'd be expecting stupid oclock fun and games.

I would allow a 30 minute nap and then do a slightly later bedtime. That will only work if you have fairly disciplined bedtimes established, so don't get messing around at bedtime.
