have to day I didn't get on with it. Didn't work particularly well. Trained him to recognise seven-zero-zero on a digital clock or you could try a night light on a timer. 4.30? Its just not reasonable. Good luck

obviously thats 'have to say...'

Thanks Foxy. Can I ask how old your ds was when you tried this?
Ds is 2.5.

A wee bit older I think - perhaps 3-ish.

The light thing might work. I just thought the bunny clocks were a bit crap.

Of course, we also resorted to putting a tv/video in the spare room and DP and he'd get into bed and watch Thomas the Tank Engine (DP can sleep through anything) until a reasonable hour. Don't tell anyone!!

I think I will try the (cheaper!) light thing first.
Thanks for your help. Your secret is safe with me!

We had a bunny clock but struggled because when DD woke up it was still dark and she just assumed he was awake cos she was!
We have a Kiddisleep clock now which is a bunny clock with a nightlight and that works like a charm.
There can be no price on six months of not getting up at 5am!
