My daughter was 10 weeks sat. When I had her weighed last wed she was 9 13lb she has been gaining weight on all of her weigh ins but it is averaging 3 to 4 ounces and she dropped a centile. She wants to sleep through the night but I have been waking her for food at 3am. The doctor says I shouldn't wake her and he knows she dropped a centile but hv and others opinion is that I should. Her last bottle is at 8pm and she takes 4 ounces every 3 hours in the day. She takes 24 ounces in every 24 hour period.
Should I wake her or let her sleep through? Opinions please

If she is back to birth weight, formula fed and gaining weight I would let her sleep through.

If she is breastfeeding and dropping centile, feeds in the night are important to increase your supply.

If she is not back to birth weight then she shouldn't go more than 4h between feeds. There are similar red flags if falling under 2 centile lines (1 centile needn't be worried about too much).

Obviously if she starts losing weight (as opposed to gaining slowly), that is very serious and needs urgent attention.
