DS has always been a bad sleeper.

At nap times I wait until hes sleepy and then out him down. He cries for 5 mins and goes to sleep. I did used to cuddle him to sleep but now it seems to make him cross.

The problem we have is he wakes constantly through the night and is hard to resettle.
Last night for example
fed at 7.30pm
bed at 8pm,
woke at 12am for the dummy
woke at 2am, gave 5 ozs of milk and he fell asleep, laid him in his cot and he woke straight up, cuddled him again until he was asleep and laid him down again, he woke back up. I then left him to cry for 15 mins in total(checked on him every 5 mins)then cuddled him to sleep again and he slept for 15 mins before waking again. I eventually brought him into bed and he slept by the side of me.

I dont mind getting up to feed him but im finding it hard not getting him to settle after a feed or if he does its only for 10 mins or so until he wakes again. Hes not happy to stay alone in his cot awake.

Should i do CC or is there anything else I can try?

Hi kbaby. I'm not sure whether it may be wind or not after his milk that may be stopping him from getting him back to sleep? I had a terrible time with my son and we changed his bottles to Dr Brown's (now called BFree I think - you can get them in mothercare or ebay). Within a week of using the new bottles my baby was a different more content little boy, I can't recommend them highly enough. They cost approximately £6-£7 each but worth every single penny! I hope this helps, I feel your pain! xx
