Getting her to sleep after a bittle

Our baby has just turned 5 months old. At bedtime, we give her a bottle and then she falls asleep in our arms. This is partly because of her reflux as when we lay her down the milk cones straight back up

With her reflux improving we want to be able to get her to put her down in her cot after her bottle. We've tried before and she just cries. Any tips on the best way about doing it without causing her distress?

Try a dummy?

Then at bedtime I would start off feeding to drowsy, lift for a wind cuddle on your shoulder for a few minutes, then lay down with a dummy and place your hand across baby's chest for reassurance, until asleep.

Over time make the milk before sleep time, so you seperate feeding and sleeping.

She already has a dummy. I have tried to lay her down when drowsy but she goes in to hyperactive mode and starts bouncing her legs up and down.

Good idea with making the milk separate to bedtime. I didn't think of that
