Daytime sleep

Hi everyone,
My little one is approaching 10 weeks old. She is fab at night and can sleep for long stretches without too much soothing from me or my OH.
During the day she is becoming much more difficult.... she'll fall asleep in a walk or a drive, but this only lasts about 30 mins and I don't have the energy to walk her for all of her naps and don't want to get into the habit of driving around for the sake of it.
She has never liked her Moses basket and appears to hate being swaddled. Å´e used to be able to rock her to sleep but this isn't working at the moment.
I've tried to start putting her to sleep as soon as I notice she seems sleepy, but it takes so long that she generally gets over tired and starts screaming inconsolably.

Any tips for daytime sleeping?

If she likes movement, try a bouncy chair.

I would also introduce a dummy. Without feeding to sleep or offering a dummy to comfort suck, baby is likely to cry before going to sleep.

My dd2 napped in a rocking chair that i then switched to vibrating until she was quite old. It helped her to nod off and then she needed the day sleeps once she got used to it.

FATE is pretty bang on with her advice (a past beneficiary Smile)
