Sleep question...

Please have a look at my 14wk old DS' sleep pattern and let me know if he is getting too much sleep during the day.

Also, any tips to help him sleep better through the night would be helpful. He wears a grobag and we co-sleep (which I am loving btw) otherwise he is up every 2 hours.

He has 3 hourly feeds during the day and sleeps for about an hour in this 3 hourly block. I put him in bed at about 7.30/8pm, he wakes at about 10.30/11 for a feed, then 3/3.30am then we are up at 6. He is only up for an hour then I have to take him back to bed at 7 as he is still tired.

He has been sleeping like this since he was a newborn.

This sounds really good to me!
My DD had no pattern at 14 weeks but yours sounds like he has found his pattern already. From my experience a lot of babies need to back to bed quite quickly in the morning, have you tried feeding him at 6 and putting him straight back down? I discovered that my DD would sleep then for another hour or two. This is a great time to either go back to sleep yourself or get up for a little time to yourself

sounds fairly similar to my 16wk...

he feeds every three hours, but with a max 45min sleep in these blocks, is more of a 'napper' on and off...goes to bed at 7/7.30pm , dreamfeed at 11pm, and doesn't wake till 7/7.30am (or 6am this morning- grrr!), but then we both go back to sleep til 9/9.30/10am
