I have just bought a sleepyhead nest, and I was wondering if I could pop my newborn in it during the day in a travel cot looking at getting a chicco next 2me too

Absolutely, that's the set up we had & it worked brilliantly.

Yes. We didn't even use a travel cot, just put the sleepyhead wherever we were - dining room table when eating, sofa when watching tv etc. DH would stay up and give final feed and settle him in sleepyhead and carry up to our room asleep to place in cot. Was fab. Also great for using when away for weekend or on holiday.
