Ds is going to be 2 in early april. He is NOT a good sleeper (long history behind that) but he has settled down now we have his health sorted out.
He currently has oen nap from 12-2, goes to bed at 6.30/7pm and wakes up between 5 and 7am in the morning.
(he also wakes at least once during the night and often 2 or 3 times)
At nursery he sleeps 12-1.30 and I have started to try and cut back his nap at home to 1 1/2 hrs. I ALWAYS have to wake him up though and he is frequently dropping with tiredness by 11am, getting lunch into him is a real struggle.
I am dreading the time when he drops his nap as thats my recharge time after being up with an active toddler since 5am. But a few people have said that once their kids were 2 they dropped all naps and they slept 12 hrs at night. So, do I continue to cut it back to 1 1/2 hrs, to 1 hr? or try and cut it entirely? and then what do we do in that time space?
