Moving from a rocking Moses basket to cot

I'm after some re-assurance or ideas on moving dd from Moses basket to a cot. She is 20 weeks. The issue is that she won't sleep unless being rocked, we have a rocking Moses basket which currently works like a dream. She wakes for one night feed between 3-4 and then goes straight back down. Same goes for naps, will only nap in her swing. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm nervous about going from this to a cot which doesn't move and don't see it ending well 

You need to start the transition while she's got a few months of growing room in the Moses basket. Because the transition might take a few weeks or couple of months.

Start to rock less. So for example if you currently rock right from awake to asleep, put her in the basket awake, rock until settled then stop rocking as soon as she's calm (but not asleep). But be prepared to restart rocking if distressed, then stop again when calm.

Also rock less vigorously. It might be worth introducing an alternate comfort source, like a dummy, instead of rocking.

Once baby is used to the basket stikking when calm, you can decrease the amount of rocking needed initially.

The aim would be to just need to rock briefly for a few minutes, then still the basket for going to sleep. At that stage you can change to a quick in-arms rock before being put down into Big Girl Cot to sleep.
