I'm sure this has been asked before, we live in a old house with thick walls and a long garden, i would appreciate recommendations fro baby monitors with a decent range that would do the job. TIA.

I think most of the ranges are calculated without obstacles outdoors so it will be the walls that may present a problem rather than the length of your garden. You can buy ones that work on wifi which could before reliable if you have problems.

Your house sounds similar to ours. We have a BT one which is good. Very basic, sound only, but it does the trick. Currently feeding DD2 to sleep so will pop back when she's down. (It's the one we use for DD1.)

Definitely not the Angelcare all singing, all dancing one (movement sensor, sound, video). I wouldn't be without it when my babies are babies anxious type but it's range is shite. Really shite.
