Are you giving a bottle or just replacing breast milk with sippy cup etc?

In terms of co-sleeping I found that you can't go cold turkey. I co slept with my second and then went from co-sleeping to rubbing his back/head etc whilst he fell asleep with him in a cot by himself, to holding his hand whilst he fell asleep, to sitting in the room and then FINALLY him sleeping by himself in a cot, although I did have to go in to settle him loads during every stage, just stay strong and don't co sleep again!!
