Aaaaaagggghhh. Please help. Dd is 5 and a half months, bottle fed and has always been a brilliant sleeper. She is in a pretty good routine of 45 minutes to an hour in a morning, 1.5 - 2 hours at lunch and 30 - 45 minutes in an afternoon. 6pm bottle, bath, bed, asleep before 7 and sleeping through until 6.45 ish with a dream feed at 10. Still in her moses basket as she is only short and there is no room for a travel cot in our room. She goes down awake but sleepy, sucks her thumb (only when she is tired) and we play Ewan the dream sheep. She puts herself to sleep within 5 minutes. Its gone to pot the last couple of weeks Hmm She's waking between 6 and 6.30 which is throwing the timing of other sleeps off. Then waking every 20 minutes during all naps although she does often sleep for the first 45 minutes at lunch time. If we put Ewan back on she m8ght fall asleep again after 10 - 20 minutes but then is awake again 20 minutes later. She seems tired inbetween naps at the moment so I don't think it's that she doesn't need them. Have tried leaving Ewan off and she just stays awake. Have put the basket in the cot in her room because it's darker. No better or worse. I know there are MUCH worse sleep problems to have but feel that if I don't sort daytime sleep then night time sleep will soon go wrong too and I'm keen to avoid that if at all possible. Any suggestions very gratefully received. Please help.

I should add that when she wakes up, she doesn't cry but lies quite happily so controlled crying or crying it out or anything similar not an option. I suppose what I'm really asking is what would wake her up so often and take so long to go back to sleep
