Had to take side off ds cot tonight as he has mastered climbing! Was totally unprepared so have no bed guard tonight. I have folded two duvets beside bed incase he falls. Should I sleep on.the duvets just incase. It also took.2 hours to settle him. I apologise for lack of paragraphs as my keyboard doesn't give me a shift button option!

Have you got a stairgate at the door? If you have I would say the 2 quilts will be fine incase he topples out and at least with the stairgate he will be contained in his room. Is his cot on the lowest setting?

I'd think it would hurt him more to land on you than the duvets - as long as he can't access stairs I'm sure he'll be fine

he'll be fine, when if he falls he will fall soft (and probably stay asleep)
