I have tried everything. When my DS was born I got him in a really good bedtime routine. He would be asleep by atleast half 9 everynight if not earlier. Since me and his dad seperated his routine has messed up and he wont sleep. When I do manage to get him to sleep at half8 9pm he wakes ip after an hour and doesnt go back to sleep for ages. Sometimed after 12midnight. Any advice?

He may well be reacting to the upheaval in his life right now.

I would try to be really compassionate and consistent with him. Keep his daytime routine very consistent and at bedtime sit in his room with him, soothing as he goes to sleep.

You can always ease your way out once he's feeling more secure. Sounds like for now though, he just needs to know you are always there.
