14 month old - Night terrors

My 14 month old has had a few night terrors and he's now having them at nursery as well,

is this anything to worry about? The NHS guidance indicates that they're more common in older children - 3 year old and up so I'm just wondering if it's something we should contact the GP about or if it's really just one of those things that he may suffer from for a few years

They're unpredictable so waking him up before etc isn't an option really but they're quite upsetting

What makes you think it is night terror rather than any of the more usual reasons a 14 month old wakes?

It's definitely a night terror - it fits the description on the NHS website to a 't' (other than the age bracket) and is very, very different to his reaction to any other reason why he might wake up. He has also had them at nursery and one of the staff members has an older child that has them and she also said it was a night terror.
