Daytime sleep and mobility

We seem to have noticed 11 month DD needs less and less daytime sleep. She has maybe 45 minutes all day at nursery and doesn't seem too bad on it. When she has a long nap at home its often difficult for her to settle at bedtime.

Could this because she, as a vast porker, is still not crawling, standing or walking? Does the relative lack of exercise minimise her sleep need?

Interesting! Will wait to see what others think but my friend who has a 10 month old who would sleep max 45 min a day, when he learnt to crawl/cruise he now sleeps up to 2 hours per day so maybe there is something in your theory.
