For Ds who is 17 months old? Always slept in our room, Co slept but now in own cot from bedtime til 4.30 ish. Our room.is massive so he is a good distance away from us. He room is also large.

Just wondering if people who moved older babies into their own rooms noticed an effect on sleep/bedtime?

Dc2 due in about 3 wks, yes I know I've left it late.

If you keep everything else the same I reckon it'll be fine. If it goes tits up then I'd do the whole "wow you get your OWN room like a big boy, wooow!" thing

I think he's old enough to cope.

I've not done the change this late, but my children moved later than the norm (around 9-12 months). Once mine were sleeping through, that's when we moved them.
