3 week old waking from grunting/wind

Is that normal?

My 3 week old is easy to put to bed sometime between 8pm-9pm and would sleep for a decent amount of time but about 2 hours later I can hear her grunting/straining to pass wind (and boy is she loud! Could rival an adult!!) eventually she then wakes up. This happens every couple of hours. She's not waking due to hunger, as when I do feed her she's not massively interested except at around 4-5am.

Is the major windyness normal? My first wasn't like that (although was a mega colicky baby)

She's also very fussy after she's woken and can take 2-3hours to get back to sleep e.g last night woke parping at 12.30am and couldn't get her back down until 3am.

Mine was like this! I started including a full body massage before bed (lucky child!) mainly focussing on tummy and leg stuff to get the wind moving and farts out. This helped, although I think she naturally got a bit better at farting easily as she grew. Regular infacol helped as well- she had bigger, louder farts but not as many.

That's good to know- both that it's normal and that she will likely grow out of it! Thank you!
