Daytime Sleep with 2DD's under 2yrs!??

How do you get them to sleep in the day?!!!

DD1 is just 2yrs old DD2 is 7moths. I just cant get them to sleep in the day, they wake each other up or get eachother over excited...only sleep in the pram if in motion. But i need some daytime time to myself!

what tricks or routines do you knowledgeable ladies employ?

same as at night but leave her in day clothes and keep bedroom dark. a small snack before nap. only 1 story in day and put mobile on as well. sometimes it works

oh and tell her in advance that when she's eat so-and-so she's going down for her nap (in a teacher's voice!) and then go and brush her teeth, shutting living room door behind me (we live in a flat) and saying go brush your teeth.
