Come and join and rant.
Dd 9.5 months has refused to nap yet again today.
Yesterday she had ten minutes from 7am-6:30pm and was a screaming mess all day long.
So frustrating.
Been this way since 5 weeks old.
Anyone else ?! Sometimes it feels like it's just me

(I knew who the op would be before opening this thread)

How about deciding that from now until spring you and baby are going to hibernate?

Spend your days chilling out, cuddling on the sofa. Watch films together. Watch kids tv. Quiet little playing games together, at home. Do very little other stuff.

Also see your GP about changing your medication. Your anxiety and stress about sleep will be making matters much, much more difficult Flowers

Remember to be thankful and grateful for small mercies. She sleeps well at night, that's fantastic and you did that. When she has a little nap, just be thankful for the peace, don't move (let her sleep on you) and close your eyes.

I'll join, 20 weeks and doesn't nap. Luckily she's ok a nights half the time. How is anything supposed to be done?

Fate yiu are so right .

Bel
I do a big clean at the weekends when dp is home to play with baby .
Do the bare minimum cleaning in the week to keep us going .
It'll all work out eventually when dd can handle her awake time better .

Try it in the pram. You can push them and make eye contact so you aren't leaving them and 9 times out of 10 they get drowsy.

Timetogrowup2016 · 04/12/2016 15:12

Ahh I've tried that .
Doesn't work at all .
I've been trying that for 8 months on and off
