Ok before I start getting tooooooo excited don't all moan at me lol. I guess over the last 6 1/2 yrs I have been relaxed on bedtime...probably too relaxed. I posted on here asking what time 8 yr olds go to bed, i guess i was feeling that i was in some way failing my DS (8 1/2 yrs). I used to let him go to bed when he wanted and he could read or watch tv until he fell asleep. Now while this didn't cause any problems, MAYBE (now this is gonna be hard to admit hee hee)I was wrong to do this as I was basically carrying on what I had done with him when his idiot father n I split. Back then he was 22 months old, upset a lot and so i allowed him to sleep in my bed, quite often he would stay up until i went to bed. which more often or not was after 3am. BUT to cut a long story short........I now have him in bed and asleep by 8.30pm. Ok not a big deal but it is to us as we now have a happier time together even though before it was happy.

sorry just proud of him and I.
