New night feed?

Hi my lg is 17 weeks and EBF, after sleeping through 10 hours every night for a few weeks (8.30ish to 6.30ish) she has started waking consistently at 5. I have been giving a feed and she goes back down for a couple of hours. Assume this is leap and/or sleep regression related. Should I be feeding her or just trying to resettle her? She certainly takes it but introducing a night feed after so long seems counterintuitive!

So the assumption you make is that sleep development is linear; that the old the baby the better the sleep.

It's tgst assumption that is wrong. Sleep development is not linear.

I always try to resettle first. But if that's not working then yes, just feed.

At this age I would definitely just feed her.
You could try you or your dp resettling her for ten my first hand but otherwise yes feed away
