Hello ladies :) I'm hoping one of you can give me some advice, my lo had chicken pox about a month and a half ago and the only way to settle him was to put him in our bed, something we'd never done but he was so upset and it managed to keep him settled ... anyway since then he's going to bed absolutely fine drifting himself off and generally sleeping well until about 2 am then he's waking up and nothing will settle him apart from our bed. The second he's in our bed he's back asleep but wakes if we try to move him! The problem is now I'm too tired in the night to try anything other than to put him in our bed, I'm exhausted from tossing and turning and lo kicking me out of my own bed At times!! I'm 32 weeks pregnant and really need to get him sleeping through again before baby comes, and TBH I could really do with a good sleep before baby comes lol.
Sorry for such a rant but I'm utterly exhausted and in need of some advice
Also his dad helps on a weekend but I have to wake him up to get him to help as he sleeps through his crying, during the week he has work from 7-5 so I feel mean waking him even though some nights I don't finish work myself until half 11. Sad thank you again any advice is appreciated

Following this as I have the same problem with my 9 month old. She goes down in her cot no problem at bedtime and self settles etc but it's the only thing that will settle her overnight. As soon as we put her in our bed she falls asleep.
I'm sorry you're so exhausted, sleep deprivation is torture!
