15 wk old not settling

My 15 week old girl has always been great at night, wakes for feed twice but goes back to sleep no problem.

The last week each night has got worse, struggling to settle after a feed, crying out as soon as I put her back down but tonight has been awful. Waking every hour since midnight crying, feeding her now but I know she will start crying as soon as I put her down.

Is this normal behaviour? Is it the 4 month sleep regression? Any advice how to help her settle?

Thanks

You have to start being proactive to help her sleep - rocking her to sleep, dummy, cosleeping. Also bear in mind that calorific need increased significantly at this age so increase feeds accordingly.

My 14 week old was the same. It was his teeth. I introduced a dummy which helped & made me realise it wasn't milk he was after, it was comfort!
