My baby is 7 months and usually has 3 naps. However the past week or so he has consistently refused his third nap, meaning he ends up having a good 4 hours of awake time before bed.
His "schedule" , such as it is, currently goes something like this:
Awake any time between 6 and 7.15 but generally closer to 7 than 6.
First nap 2 hours after waking, usually around 9am-10am but massively varies, sometimes 90 mins, sometimes 30 mins.
Second nap 3 hours or so after first nap ends, usually starts sometime between 12 and 1. Again hugely varied, sometimes short, sometimes long. He's generally awake by 2.30 at the latest.
I start his bedtime routine at 6 and he's usually asleep by 6.30. He then has feeds at about 10.30 and 3.30 (is bottle fed) though on a good night he might skip the 10.30 feed.
But to be awake from 2/2.30-6 seems like a crazy amount of awake time doesn't it?! And isn't 7 months quite young to transition to only one nap?
