Monitoring my babies temperature at night

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a device where I can monitor my baby's body temperature during the evening. She suffers with febrile convulsions and one of the symptoms before she fits is that she get a very high temperature. Is there anything on the market I could buy?

I if she suffers febrile convulsions can the dr / hospital not recommend anything? Does she only get them if she's ill with something else or can they happen any time? Sounds scary.

You need to ask GP if that is indeed necessary first.

Aren't febrile convulsions a consequence of high temp? High temp isn't a symptom. She shouldn't get them if she went to bed well surely?
