Is 10 too old for a mid sleeper?

I need to buy a new bed for DD and she really wants a mid sleeper. I want something that has some storage in it, and that will last. Obviously a mid sleeper incorporates some storage, but I'm just not sure if she'll still want the bed in 2 or 3 years or will she think it's not cool anymore. Does anyone have teens still in their midsleeper, or I should I try to direct her to something else?

I'd say a high sleeper is cooler for a teen. You can get high sleepers with a couch underneath (for "chillin'"), or a desk underneath for homework.

My nearly 13 year old dd is still in a mid sleeper and seems happy with it. Have offered her a normal bed but she said hers is ok

We had a similar dilemma when ds age just 9; is now 10. We got one second hand so we weren't spending too much if he went off it quickly. Still fine. Is able to access books really easily and read in his own kind of nest.

His cousin got a high sleeper at 8 and is now a teenager with a mid sleeper (because more storage and a pull out desk for homework)
