Exhausted

How do I get my 8 month old to realise that 4.30am is NOT time to get up and play? Envy I have 4 children here to look after, the others are aged 2, 5 and 7 so it's becoming impossible. I am exhausted. DS1 has always slept until 7/8am but since DS2 has been getting up at 4.30/5am every day he can hear him (he's a really shouty baby) so he gets up early every day too then my DSD's both get up too, 4 kids at 5am every day ShockSad
He's in a routine, bath at 6.40pm along with ds1, dressed, bottle and bed.
I can't cope without sleep anymore

Is he having a feed in the night?

If not, I might try bringing back a 11pm feed for a few weeks to see if that helps. Sometimes that 'rest button' of waking up and having an extra bedtime drink can help.

Further to this, look at your daytime naps. I would go for a later bedtime but in order to do that you need to move around daytime naps. In particular a morning nap too early can be a cause of early wake ups.
