Sleep regression - at my wits end

Hi all,

My dd has always been a wonderful sleeper (I've felt a bit spoilt with her) but as soon as she hit 9 months old everything has changed and she keeps waking in the night, I end up holding her until she is back to sleep otherwise she screams the house down. Then often when I put her back into her cot she wakes up either straight away or a few minutes later screaming again and it goes on and on. She has always fallen asleep on her night bottle and doesn't have long nap in the day either - she will have two naps but it will never be more than half hour long and again she wakes up screaming and in an absolutely foul mood (since she's turned 9 months - before she was a dream)
I am struggling with the lack of sleep and due to go back to work in 2 weeks and I'm wondering how the hell im going to function.
I know sleep regression is common in this age group but I'm just wondering how the hell to cope with it? So please if you have any advise please please let me know. Thank you x
